Friends of Sick Children in Malawi is a UK charity whose object is to raise funds for Friends of Sick Children (‘FOSC’), a Malawi children’s charity whose objective is to improve the healthcare and well being of the 80,000 sick children admitted to or treated each year in the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH), Malawi. FOSC raises funds needed to pay the nurses, clinical officers and related staff who each year treat some of the poorest children in the World.

Gift Aid Your Donation Gift Aid allows Friends of Sick Children in Malawi to claim tax back from HMRC on all your donations. For every £1 you donate, HMRC add an extra 25p from your taxes. It will not cost you a penny, simpy choose the GiftAid option when prompted, and you are confirming that, YES, you are a UK taxpayer and want Friends of Sick Children in Malawi to treat all donations made for the past six years and all donations made in the future to be treated as gift aid donations, until you tell Friends of Sick Children in Malawi otherwise. You must pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that Friends of Sick Children in Malawi will reclaim on donations in the appropriate tax year.
